Its advantages, such as fast speed, large volume, less influence by climate and safer, are favored by domestic and foreign shippers, and the demand for international logistics is growing.

At present, more than 20 provinces in China have successively launched cross-border cargo transportation in China-Laos Railway, covering Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Singapore and other countries along the Belt and Road, which has enabled China and Indo-China countries to have a new convenient land transportation channel, and the freight transportation time has been shortened by nearly 20 days compared with traditional sea transportation, and it can be reached from Kunming, China to Bangkok, Thailand in 55 hours at the earliest.
With the opening and operation of China-Laos Railway, the countries along the Belt and Road, especially the neighboring countries of Yunnan Province, have become new investment hotspots, and the opportunities for cooperation have become more prominent.
At present, Yunnan is speeding up the implementation of China-Laos Railway’s three-year action plan in accordance with the idea that big channels will drive big logistics, big logistics will drive big trade, big trade will drive big industry, big industry will drive big development, and big development will promote big opening.
Xu Ance said that the railway department will actively explore new modes of international railway transportation, such as "Lan-Mei Express+Cross-border E-commerce", "China-Laos Railway+Central Europe Train" and "China-Laos Railway+West Land and Sea New Passage Train", so as to enhance the radiation effect of China-Laos Railway and its cross-border freight capacity.

Deputy Dai Yin: Inserting "wings" for the publishing industry to go global.

In the same year, Dai Yin once again led a team to go abroad and went to Vietnam to seek cooperation. "We found that there is a great demand for children’s books such as picture books in the Vietnamese market." Dai Yin always remembers that the agent took her to a small local publishing house on a scooter.
"That publishing house is in a small building, and the room is filled with all kinds of children’s picture books. The founders talked with us for a long time, and I can feel their love for culture, regardless of national boundaries. At that time, we completed the cooperation signing of 70 picture books. " Dai Yin said, "From a broader perspective, I think that the publishing industry in China is going out to create a common culture in promoting the building of a community of human destiny."

"I hope that the domestic team will try to create some fine products that meet the domestic demand and reflect the international expression, and realize the communication effect of domestic hot screening and foreign screen brushing." Zhang Shirong said.

Member Ruan Ying: From "Products Going to Sea" to "Brands Going to Sea"

On December 3rd, 2021, China-Laos Railway Fuxing "Hulk" and "Lancang" EMUs were put into operation. As a landmark project of China-Laos friendship, China-Laos Railway is the first transnational railway invested and constructed by China, which is jointly operated and directly connected with China railway network.
CRRC Zhuzhou Institute provided the key core technologies of traction electric drive and network control for these two EMUs. Among them, the traction converter as the "heart" can control the output power and drive the energy of the whole vehicle; As the "brain" of the whole vehicle, the network control system can make the train automatically identify and diagnose faults, and escort the safe travel.
Li Donglin introduced that since the opening of China-Laos Railway, the technicians of CRRC Zhuzhou Institute have fully cooperated with the operation of EMUs, and the operation of supporting products has maintained zero failure. Up to now, the EMU with technical equipment provided by CRRC Zhuzhou has run more than 710,000 kilometers without trouble.

Compared with the traditional mode of transportation, the stability of trains in Central Europe is higher. Compared with sea transportation, the position of China-Europe trains is more secure and the transportation time is faster. These advantages provide convenience for enterprises to open up overseas markets. There is a washing machine manufacturer in Shaanxi. Last year, 9 special trains were shipped by the China-Europe train Changan, and 32,000 washing machines were sold. Since the beginning of this year, 500,000 sets of orders have been received, all of which will be sold overseas through the China-Europe train.
With the high-quality development of the "Belt and Road", the cooperation and exchanges between Xi ‘an and countries and cities along the route have been expanding, and Xi ‘an’s "international circle of friends" has also been expanding.
In 2022, the country’s first land departure port tax rebate pilot landed in Xi ‘an, and the country’s first domestic and international full-time schedule train departed from Xi ‘an. The "Tongsi Road" cross-border e-commerce RMB settlement service platform was fully operational, and the construction of Xi ‘an International Aviation Hub and national airport economy demonstration zone was accelerated, and two international passenger routes and four all-cargo routes were newly opened. The city’s total import and export value was 447.41 billion yuan, general trade increased by 33.3% year-on-year, and imports and exports to countries along the Belt and Road increased by 40% year-on-year.
