2024 Beijing Auto Show： Dongfeng Yipai e π 008 officially debuted

　　Following the hot-selling eπ 007, the second model was officially unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show on April 25, and the pre-sale price was 20 to 250,000 yuan.

　　The new car is positioned in a family smart large SUV, with a 5002mm length + 3025mm wheelbase, providing two power options of pure electric & range extension. The eπ 008 pre-sale policy was announced simultaneously. From April 25th to May 31st, 99 yuan will enjoy the subscription benefit worth more than 10,000 yuan when you place an order. According to the official introduction, the order exceeded 10,000 within 5 hours of the pre-sale.

　　In terms of appearance and shape, the eπ 008 shows the iconic design of new energy models, with a high degree of simplicity in the front. At the same time, as a large SUV, its body also gives it a good aura. Its length, width and height are 5002 * 1972 * 1732mm, and the wheelbase is 3025mm. The car also adds leading configurations such as zero-gravity seats, comfortable entry, seat massage and ventilation heating, and dual-purpose mobile refrigerators.

　　Eπ 008 is built on a quantum architecture and is equipped with Dongfeng Mach E electric drive system. The maximum efficiency of the electric drive assembly is 94.5%. The comprehensive energy consumption of the pure electric model is as low as 14.7kWh/100km, and the CLTC battery life reaches 636km. The extended-range model is equipped with the industry’s first extended-range dedicated engine with a thermal efficiency of 45.18%. The CLTC pure electric battery life is 210km, and the feed fuel consumption is as low as 5.55L/100km. The CLTC comprehensive battery life is 1300km.

　　With front and rear 6 screens, full-scene voice control, panoramic WANOS, and audio-visual entertainment ecology, the eπ 008 can meet the audio-visual entertainment needs of family travel listening, singing, watching, and playing, and can also provide convenient whole-car control functions.

　　In terms of vehicle safety, the eπ 008 body adopts a high-strength + energy-absorbing cage body structure. The whole system is equipped with 6 airbags as standard, and has a side safety air curtain to protect the three rows of occupants. And battery safety is the advantage of the eπ 008. The Mach E power battery is super safe, not afraid of poking, not afraid of squeezing, not afraid of bubbles, not afraid of shocks, and various parameters far exceed national standards. Delivery of the eπ 008 will start in June this year.

　　This time, eπ 007 also participated in the exhibition together with eπ 008. As the first new energy ace under Dongfeng Yipai, since its launch on March 14, the pure electric version of Dading has exceeded 10,000.

In addition, it is also equipped with electric tail wings, butterfly shadow light blankets, flippable instrument screens, electric hatchback tailgates, panoramic domes and other trendy configurations that young people love.

　　The eπ 007 series is equipped with eπ PILOT-intelligent assisted driving as standard, and can also be equipped with a smart driving pilot upgrade package to realize "high-speed NOA pilot assisted driving" and "LAPA over-the-horizon memory parking". It comes standard with the only Dongfeng SOA intelligent cockpit in the same class, WANOS panoramic surround sound field, and a unified intelligent interactive voice system.

　　The maximum power of the eπ 007 rear drive version is 200kW, and at the same time, it provides the only electric four-wheel drive in the same class. The motor power is up to 400kW, and it has a 3-second zero-hundred acceleration capability. While running fast, the eπ 007 has a 50:50 golden axle-load ratio and an ultra-low center of gravity, achieving better corner handling stability.
