2024 SV Second Edition
Land Rover launched the high-performance Range Rover Sport SV in a new way. In 2023, the brand launched a limited edition Edition One with a single specification, with matte gold paint and a gray-black two-color interior. This is followed by Edition Two, which can be ordered by everyone. Buyers can choose one of four "design schemes" with a single appearance color and pre-selected interior and appearance details.
The body of the blue nebula specification is painted with matte gray blue (slightly green, according to Land Rover). It uses satin forged carbon fiber exterior and black 23-inch wheels with matching blue nebula brake calipers behind the wheels. The car is decorated with gray-black Windsor leather.
Marl Grey Gloss version not only uses shiny finish for paint, but also uses shiny finish for woven carbon fiber exterior and 23-inch carbon fiber wheels. All Range Rover Sport SV are equipped with carbon fiber hoods, but the central panel and vents of Marl Grey Edition Two are woven. The brake calipers of this model are in Sunrise copper color, and the interior is wrapped in rose wood and black leather.
Buyers who want more Sunrise Copper should pay attention to the Sunrise Copper Satin specification, which uses this color throughout the body. Its exterior is decorated with satin carbon fiber weaving, and red brake calipers are exposed from the back of black 23-inch aluminum wheels. Sunrise Copper Satin’s interior is pure black.
Finally, there is the Ligurian black-light version, which uses satin carbon fiber woven with glossy paint. Like Marl Grey’s specifications, the Ligurian black version of the carbon fiber hood is mostly unpainted, and it is also equipped with 23-inch carbon fiber wheels with yellow brake calipers behind the wheels. The interior continues this theme, using dark gray and black fabrics and synthetic leather.
The four design schemes are for reference only, but buyers have some freedom in each scheme. They can choose different wheels (including 22-inch alloy wheels), brake caliper colors and black or body color roofs. Buyers can also choose one of the other options from the specified carbon fiber decoration kit: forged satin weaving or high-gloss weaving. The same is true for the interior, with woven decoration and exposed carbon fiber front seat backs. Regardless of the finish, all Range Rover Sport SV Edition Twos are equipped with heated and ventilated front and rear seats, and the front seats have massage function.
Like the Edition One, the Edition Two is powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V-8 engine with mild hybrid assistance. This V-8 engine can output 626 horsepower, with a nominal torque of 553 lb-ft (590 lb-ft in dynamic start mode). It is said that it can accelerate the Range Rover Sport SV to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 180 mph.
For such a large vehicle, this speed is very fast, but it is equally surprising that the weight can be reduced. Carbon fiber wheels, huge carbon ceramic brakes and carbon fiber hood have reduced the curb weight of SV by nearly 168 pounds. Edition Two also comes standard with Land Rover’s innovative 6D Dyn amics suspension. The device does not use the traditional anti-roll bar, but uses hydraulic connection shock absorber to enhance stability.
The 2024 Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two is now on sale. The starting price is $182,325 (including $1,625 in freight), but the price of each model is different.
