Geely Automobile Launches ＂Unbounded Space＂ Smart Car Cloud Entertainment Platform

[Global Technology Channel Comprehensive Report] On September 28, Chinese automaker Geely Automobile recently announced the launch of its innovative smart car cloud entertainment platform "Unbounded Space". This platform aims to solve the current problems of low application, low memory and poor playability of pure electric cars and machines, and provide richer application expansion and updated car experience.

The first production model of the "Unbounded Space" platform is the Geely Star Wish, which attracted a lot of attention at the launch ceremony in Jakarta. It is not only equipped with the Flyme Auto system, but also supports operation through the analog handle of the mobile phone, providing users with a more diverse entertainment experience.

Unbounded Space has partnered with Tencent App Treasure, allowing users to easily download high-frequency applications on the market. It is expected that by 2025, more than 300 mainstream applications will be adapted. Users can choose to pre-install Geely’s self-developed and third-party cooperative applications in the cloud, which do not occupy local storage and computing power. At the same time, users can also upload private APKs for installation through the WeChat Mini Program "Cloud Space Butler", breaking the traditional installation restrictions.

Unbounded Space supports a variety of mainstream music software such as NetEase Cloud Music, QQ Music, Kugou, as well as navigation software such as Autonavi, Baidu, Tencent, Beidou, etc. The version update of these applications can be completed in the cloud, and users do not need to wait for OTA upgrades.

Geely Star Wish’s body size is 4135 * 1805 * 1570mm, the wheelbase is 2650mm, and it offers seven car colors for consumers to choose from. In addition, it is also equipped with independent suspension and 11-in-1 smart electric drive, providing two motor powers (58 kW and 85 kW), and using lithium iron phosphate battery pack (SHIELD short knife battery). The pre-sale price range is 7.88-10 7,800 yuan.

The Geely Star Wish program will be launched on October 9, 2024, providing consumers with a variety of configuration options, including 310km and 410km range options.
