The first thing to note is that the Sea Lion 07 DM-i and the Sea Lion 07 EV are not products of the same platform. The latter is an e-platform 3.0 model, while the former will come from BYD’s latest P7 hybrid platform, and their relationship is the same as the Song L DM-i and Song L EV. It is completely two cars, one is mainly plug-in and the other is mainly pure electric. Let’s take a look at the design again. From the spy photos, it can be seen that the lines and other aspects of the new car are consistent with the frigate 07, and it also has a hidden door handle. However, it can be felt that the front of the car has changed a lot. In terms of the chassis that users are more concerned about, the new car is likely to upgrade the P7 hybrid platform, and in addition to the DM5.0 platform, the suspension will also be significantly improved. The front suspension may still be McPherson, but the rear suspension should be upgraded from three links to five links, further enhancing the upper limit of the chassis. In addition, from the level point of view, on the basis of the upgraded suspension of the new car, it is expected that some hardware equipment will be given, including FSD variable damping shock absorption, which is also a configuration to improve the driving texture.
